Dan and take a week off to visit the lavender fields of Provence – and lots of French Alps on the way there and back. I can honestly say that this ride was more about the journey than the destination.
Battle of Verdun – a motorcycle journey
A few months ago Dan and I rode to Verdun, France to see one of World War I’s famous battle sites. Join us as we ride through the French countryside and explore the towns and museums along the way.

A family trip (by car!) to the Alsace region to enjoy some sightseeing and wine tasting.
Another ride for lunch
A motorcycle friend and I did a nice little ride along the Swiss/French border to have lunch. Perfect weather and perfect roads!
Easter in the Pyrenees
Follow along as Dan, my nephew Matt and I spend five days getting to and enjoying the Pyrenees along the Mediterranean coast. Bonus: Lunch in Spain!
Hiking around a WWI memorial site
A month ago, Dan and I rode up to the WW I Memorial at Hartmannswillerkopf to explore the area on foot. It was a beautiful day to get out and enjoy.
Autumn Wonderland – The Vosges
A delightful romp through the Alsace region of France to enjoy the fall colors. I took a lot of photos because I just couldn’t get over how beautiful it looked.
St Hippolyte – with Dan!
A nice half-day ride to the French town of Saint-Hippolyte with Dan! It was a lovely weather for a ride.
The French Connection
I volunteered to run an errand into France and explored a castle ruin on the way home.
When the weather is perfect the only thing to do is to get out and enjoy it! I did just that with a 5 1/2 hour motorcycle ride through the Jura region.
