For those of you who may not follow me on Facebook but follow me here, I have a new trip to post!
I finally made it to Scandinavia – Sweden, specifically. This was a two week holiday, with a Family reunion plopped into the middle of it.

I finally made it to Sweden! While it has been on the Bucket List for almost as long as I have been alive, this was the year that it finally happened. I credit that to the Family Reunion that had been arranged at my grandfather’s home town, but we made the most of it with two weeks of exploring the Swedish south <3
Not all of the days have been done yet, but if you’re not on Facebook, at least you are now aware of the start of the write up 🙂
Welcome to Germany, where a friend and I explore some nearby historic cities on two wheels.
No Dan this time – he had to work 😀
For those of you who are clever enough to have subscribed to my website, you’re getting a personlized notification that I have completed the write up of our recent trip to Scotland. There, we visited the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh, and hiked the West Highland Way in between. Enjoy!
I finally got to experience the Canadian backcountry! It wasn’t terribly far north, or terribly far into the backcountry itself, but it was a good taste of what there is to experience far north of the border.
Join Dan and I on a five day canoeing / camping trip in Algonquin Provincial Park
It is a good thing that no one actually pays attention to what I do and what I post. I just realized that I never completed the trip that Dan and I took to Edinburgh – in 2023! I did my best to revive my memories of our time there and I think that I got it down ok.
Maybe someone will enjoy it?
Last May, Dan and I took the motorcycles on a ride through France. We saw a good cross-section of the country and visited the Atlantic coast on this journey.
Here is a link to that story.
Last November Dan and I took an almost-spontaneous trip to Greece. It wasn’t the most exotic trip I’ve ever been on, but it was the first time to Greece, and I really enjoyed my time there.
For those of you who have subscribed to my website, but don’t see me on Facebook, I am posting here about a motorcycle trip Dan and I took in Morocco last May (2024). Yep, I’m just a little bit behind in making this post. But the information is still there and – hopefully! – interesting.
A late summer day ride to the Big Passes in the Alps – thwarted by some bad weather.
