Slowly but surely, I will finish this report!
Day 5 has been posted. And some day I’ll figure out how to post a link directly to the page, and not have the intermediary click. Let me know if you have a solution please 🙂

I have been plodding along not-so-steadily on the Spanish trip. Days 2, 3 & 4 are now ready for your Monday distraction.
It has been a long time – too long – since I had anything to add to my site. Remember that sore thumb from my birthday ride last February? It turned out I had completely torn the ligament on my thumb! Surgery was required, as well as a very long healing process. To be honest, it still isn’t one hundred percent, but it is getting there! All of that recovery time meant that I didn’t have the ability to do much else so I guess you could say that life was pretty quiet up until last month.
And now I have something to post! Dan and I took a two week trip to Spain! It has taken me a while to get around to writing it up, as we have a new garden and the weather has been excellent for it. Yes, I have been distracted by plants. And it has been either too hot or too rainy to get any good riding in, but I hope to fix that soon, too.
Now I invite you to join me for this adventure – but be warned: only the first day has been posted 🙂
My early season birthday ride into the mountains to have lunch with my wonderful Dan. We had great weather and clear roads – hard to ask for more!
I am way behind in posting this, but last month Dan and I went to Graubünden, a canton on the other side of the country, to see some snow and mountains. Not that we had to cross the country to see snow and mountains. But we were here for a race!
Hello all! I have recently taken the plunge to use a new WordPress Theme. I have been wanting to do this for a long time and with a quiet holiday coming up, I decided to go for it!
It was not a seamless change – I had to go in and re-design my directional pages and sometimes make new ones. And I have yet to do that for the Motorcycle Trips (saving the best for last, right?). Actually, it is a lot of work and I ran out of steam. But I hope to finish everything this weekend.
Final steps will be to insert any missing photos and see if I can make anything better. And, of course, I am always interested in hearing from you. If you run into any problems, or just want to give some feedback, please let me know!
Dan and I had a random weekend away from Basel, which coincidentally coincided with US Thanksgiving. It was our first trip to a Scottish city and it really lived up to our expectations.
Slowly I am catching up on my postings! Two weeks ago Dan and I took a hike in the Alps in probably the best weather possible. Fantastic views and colors blessed us for the entire day. Come along for the hike – without even raising your pulse 🙂
Now that I have finished the post for Bangkok/Bhutan, I can focus on a couple of things I’ve done since my return to Switzerland. Below is a day ride to the Walensee area, the mountains just southeast of Zürich – and really close to Lichtenstein.
My sister just informed me that the Comments area of my recent webpages wasn’t showing up!!!
I have no idea what might have changed in the settings, but thanks to her looking out for me, I went in and changed them all to “allow comments”.
So bring it on! Over a year’s worth of posts are out there; maybe one of them sparked a thought or question?
