The continuing saga of our fledgling seagulls kept us busy

After yesterday’s adventure we decided to keep things “closer to home” today. We wandered the streets until we reached the East Gate of the Botanic Gardens.

An overcast but comfortable day

At one point we came upon an outdoor wedding. This gentleman was helping to make sure that no one bothered the ceremony (and also provided a nice element to the backdrop)

A mix of herb – vegetable – flower beds

After walking around most of the garden we left it behind and meandered back down to Leith. A bit of window shopping, a game store, and a book store ate up the rest of the day.

Good news when we got back to the room: a parent seagull finally came to feed the youngsters. We were concerned that they might have been abandoned.
