A walk through – and up – Tiger Mountain in the rain
Tiger Mountain is about 20 minutes from Seattle on I-90, an easy jaunt for a day hike. I heard that there are a myriad of trails running through this area but wasn’t very familiar with it. So I headed out with minimal gear and checked it out. As you can see, it was a bright but wet day. I chose some very popular trails as well as some more obscure and smaller ones. One hiker I met informed me that I had taken the steepest possible route up the mountain (as evidenced by the last picture posted here). All in all it was a very quiet and enjoyable experience. I need to get back out there.
