Commercial Flying Can Be Beautiful

Coming back from a week in Salt Lake City for a work-related gig, I was blessed with clear weather and daylight. For once, I had my camera and was able to take advantage of it..

The flight out of town took off around sunrise, so by the time we were near Mt Rainier, it was glistening in the soft rays of a winter dawn. Of course by the time I realized just what sort of view was out of my window it was almost too late to get the camera.

The flight home started out beautiful, so I kept the camera handy and took plenty of pictures. While I was sitting forward of the wing, I wasn't far enough to get away from the engine blocking a good portion of my view. I'll have to choose my seat assignment more carefully next time...
